Professional Profile

I have professional experience spanning both the sports and arts sectors, bringing a unique blend of creativity, discipline, and teamwork.  I am able to work in a high-performance environment, whether delivering results on the field or driving innovative projects in a creative setting. I am able to adapt and collaborate with diverse teams and audiences, with a strong appreciation for both competitive excellence and artistic expression.

My recent practice uses both found and made objects to create a narrative that plays on the relationship between art and archaeology and the modern museological system. It is research based involving both archaeological digs and delving through historical documents both relating to history and the arts.

Alongside my fine art photographic practice, I also worked as a sports photographer, and was privileged to photograph Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games and multiple World & European Championships as well as being the official photographer for the Oxford – Cambridge Boat Race. My work has appeared worldwide in newspapers, magazines, publications and on websites as well as a multi-Oscar winning film.

As an arts professional, I have been a trustee of an art gallery and was responsible for delivering the Wirksworth Festival, a leading regional contemporary Arts Festival which attracts artists from across the UK who present their work to an audience of over 5,000 on an annual basis. I have also exhibited multiple times at this event.
